Saturday, 19/07/08, Me and my lil' fam (husband, the little prince Renzo n mom in law) left for Sydney. Around 11:30 am we arrived and went to Jan's house. Jan is my writing teacher when following writing workshops in Jakarta. From the beginning I arrived in Australia, me and Jan wants to meet each other.
Alhamdulillah after a few years we could meet again. Jan immediately greeted with a warm hug. Jan lived in a flat with her son. Funny thing is, when she offered us a drink or food. We chose the cold water. Suddenly she served biscuits and Teh Kotak Sosro. Yup, Teh Kotak. Hahaha..
Jan talked about her work. She also asked about my writing activities. It was an hour went by so fast and felt less old! Before leaving, I gave my novel "Spring of Love" to her. Then Jan gave me a book and the CD for a keepsake. We also had pictures together.
